VERTICAL HORIZONTAL INHABITED
Bed&Breakfast in the Oslo Fjord
Paperproject of a Bed and breakfast facility on a remote island in the Oslofjord archipelago.
The program consists of 4 bed and breakfast rooms oriented in 4 directions. Each 90 degrees from the room below. This to give each room a different characteristica as each view is vastly different. The single window in each room and 2m high ceiling heightens this narrowed outwards focus. As one gets closer to the window, the floor steps down and doubles as a seating area - a place to soak in the view.
The building is seemingly constructed of a single pour of concrete, to mimic the hilly terrain with the bare mountain
